Study abroad

Where would you like to study?

We guide students to six countries. Start with a quick comparison, then open a full guide — or ask us which one suits your course and budget.

01 · United States of America

Study in the USA

The American education system offers international students a rich choice of schools, programmes and locations, so wide that it can overwhelm even students from the US. Understanding how the system works will help you narrow your choices and build a clear education plan, and we are here to guide you through it.

  • Home to most of the world's finest universities, including MIT, Harvard, Princeton and Yale
  • A wide variety of programmes with a flexible curriculum
  • About 4,500 accredited higher education institutions

02 · United Kingdom

Study in the UK

UK education is recognised and respected throughout the world. Most international students enter UK higher education directly after completing their home country's equivalent of UK 'further education', and can earn a bachelor's degree in three years or a master's degree in just one.

  • Qualifications recognised and respected throughout the world
  • Bachelor's degrees in three years, specialised from Year One
  • Master's degrees that take a minimum of one year

Intakes: Main intake September/October; some universities also offer January/February, and a few admit students 3 to 4 times a year.

03 · Ireland

Study in Ireland

Ireland has made huge economic progress over the last few decades and today enjoys living standards better than most countries in the world. It has a highly advanced knowledge economy built on agri-business, life sciences, financial services and technology, ranks first for high-value foreign direct investment (FDI), and performs better than most countries on the Better Life Index measures of jobs and earnings, health, education and skills, and work–life balance. The top industries for jobs are IT services, financial services, renewable energy, business services, and medical, health and pharmaceuticals.

  • A friendly, safe, English-speaking country
  • World-class universities with internationally recognised qualifications
  • Low tuition fees and accommodation costs

Intakes: September is the main intake. A few institutions also offer a February start, and some colleges (such as National College of Ireland, Dublin Business School and Griffith College) have a January intake.

04 · Canada

Study in Canada

Canada is one of the wealthiest, most developed countries in the world, and it ranks among the highest in international measurements of education, government transparency and civil liberties. After school you can choose between community colleges and universities – and many university graduates go on to college to add job-ready vocational skills.

  • International student numbers have tripled over the past decade
  • Globally recognised universities offering a world-class education
  • Highly practical programmes with hands-on learning

Intakes: Most universities and colleges admit international students for two intakes: September–December and January–April.

05 · Australia

Study in Australia

Australia – officially the Commonwealth of Australia – is the world's sixth-largest country, made up of the Australian mainland, the island of Tasmania and many smaller islands. A developed and wealthy nation with the second-highest Human Development Index in the world, it ranks highly for quality of life, health, education, economic freedom, and the protection of civil liberties and political rights.

  • Internationally ranked universities
  • Part-time job opportunities for international students
  • Post-study work visa of up to 5 years

Intakes: Australia generally has two intakes, February and July; a few universities also offer intakes in September and November.

06 · New Zealand

Study in New Zealand

Studying in New Zealand is an exciting and rewarding experience. With stunning landscapes, a vibrant culture and a world-class education system, it is an ideal destination for international students, whether you want to study business, engineering or the arts.

  • A balance of theory and practical, industry-focused training
  • Qualifications recognised and respected worldwide
  • More affordable than the US and Europe; fees due only after visa approval
